Hello we're rock and pop wedding and party Staffordshire function band for hire, The Fanatics.
We are a quirky, talent professional bunch of musicians who reside in North Staffordshire, UK. Though, you'll be glad to hear we aren't tied to just local areas, but in fact we travel to all areas of the UK and even abroad!
The 5 of us have over 10 years experience in musical performance. We've played for big crowds, small crowds; at some big, small and famous venues up and down the country - for example in the past we've played at: Anfield Football Stadium, Tiger Tiger, Chester Racecourse, The Printworks (Manchester) and many others! Clients who we play for vary from the bride, groom and wedding guests, to big corporate clients such as, Selfridges, Eddie Stobart and the NHS.
As we're from Stone, North Staffordshire, we often play at Granvilles Music Bar and we're highly recommended for bookings at Staffordshire's number one wedding venue and country retreat, Moddershall Oaks.
Our repertoire is vast and diverse, covering songs from Aretha Franklin and Etta James to Daft Punk and Kings of Leon. We love to keep on trend and know all the best tunes from the past decade including, Daft Punk, Bruno Mars, The Killers, Emelie Sande - but we also know all the best tracks from the decades before that (the classics), from Dolly Parton, to T-Rex, to Stevie Wonder, to Steelers Wheel.
We have great stage presence and we engage the audience with light talking and charm, encouraging those who are still around the buffet table to get on the dance floor.

Jim - Lead Male Vocalist & Lead Guitarist Jim is the lead male vocalist and lead guitarist of The Fanatics. He studied at Leeds College of Music where he achieved an HND in Music Production. He formed his first band with school friends at the age of 14 and has performed constantly ever since in numerous bands playing every style of music. Jim is a passionate guitarist and is a multi-instrumentalist, able to play bass, keyboards and drums. Being a huge Beatles fan Jim says one of his most memorable gigs was playing at the Cavern Club, Liverpool when only 16 years old. During time away from The Fanatics Jim writes and records his own original material and has written music for TV and film.

Dave - Rhythm Guitarist Dave plays rhythm guitar in The Fanatics. His passion for music began at a young age when he was given an acoustic guitar for his birthday. At the age of 17, after honing his craft with renditions of Led Zeppelin and The Beatles, Dave started playing for various original bands. Song writing and playing original music has since taken Dave all over the UK to some of the country's top venues, including Liverpool's famous Cavern Club and London's renowned indie music venue, the Monto Water Rats Theatre. Playing credits include performances at various UK festivals and as support for Ocean Colour Scene and Manchester legends, Inspiral Carpets. |

Clare - Lead Female Vocalist Clare is the lead vocalist in The Fanatics. Born into a family of musicians and songwriters, Clare’s professional live music career spans 15 years, making her stage debut at the age of four. As a young musical theatre performer, Clare appeared in productions across the UK, and at the age of 16 was personally invited by Sir Paul McCartney to join the Liverpool School of Performing Arts. During academic studies in Bristol and Cambridge, Clare furthered her passion for music as both a DJ and vocalist. This included providing vocals for a number of electronic dance music (EDM) projects, working with dance producers from London and Sweden, as well as Glastonbury Festival and other event producers in the South West. Performing with a variety of funk, soul, dance, pop and big band artistes has taken Clare to numerous stages, from London's funky Big Chill Bar, to Birmingham’s famous Hippodrome Theatre, to Glastonbury's Yop Tent, to Bristol’s Carling Academy. Other performance credits include work with American soul legends The Drifters, and vocal sessions for BBC radio and recording studios in London, Bristol, Manchester and Liverpool.

Nathan - Bass Guitarist Nathan plays Bass in The Fanatics. Currently studying music at the University of Nottingham, Nathan is pursuing a love for music that urged him to start gigging at the age of 13 and has performed in bands ever since. In these various bands, Nathan has performed as lead singer, guitarist, keyboardist and drummer in many different styles. His particular love for jazz and funk is honed in the University of Nottingham’s renowned big band, which performs worldwide. |

Andy - Drummer Andy is the drummer for The Fanatics. Starting at a young age, he was professionally tutored in Drums & Percussion attending various master classes, including with legendary jazz drummer and tutor Jim Chapin. Andy graduated from music college with a Distinction in Music Technology. A lover of all genres of music he takes influence from Rock, Funk, Jazz & Blues, Pop and definitely Soul – anything with a beat!!! Live performance has always been part of his life, travelling the country with both original and cover bands. He has played gigs in some of the UK’s top venues, including Birmingham Academy and Staffordshire’s The Sugarmill. His playing credits include support for Ocean Colour Scene and Manchester legends, Inspiral Carpets.
